time to say goodbye to the lazy summer days and return to living on a schedule. The supplies are bought, everyone has new clothes and clean shoes, alarm clocks are being set, bedtimes are being moved up, and here we go entering another great school year. Michael will be going to public school this year. Morgan is looking forward to her Sophomore year at James Island Charter. Matthew loves Ft Johnson Middle and is so ready to see all his friends again. Michael is nervous, but I know he will do well. And me? I am ready to go back to school with all the wonderful middle school kids.

When Bruce told me that he & Morgan were getting up at 5AM to go fishing together, I thought "sure she is...." MY MORGAN who LOVES

But I packed them a lunch anyway....

I woke up the next day and the boat and the 2 of them were gone.Unbelievable!

She caught the first fish of the day! They had a wonderful time, and she was back home and in her bed sound asleep by noon!

EVERY summer 2 great things happen; Cathy and I do the traditional "cousin exchange". We each have 3, they are the same ages and each have 2 boys and a girl. Every summer for years, they get to switch out however they want to stay with me and/or her during the summer. The other thing that happens is Jeannie and her family come to town!! It is a time of lots & lots of cousins sleeping all over my house, lots of noise, laughter, food cooked, outings with the kids, sister talks, etc.... GREAT TIMES & GREAT MEMORIES for all of us.
