Matthew and I read The Big Field by Mike Lupicia this past summer. It is a really good book and I attribute that book to his renewed interest in playing baseball. He took last year off, and decided late to play this year. Well, he has probably had just about his best season ever. He has played catcher and just happens to have a really good coach who has taught him lots. This Monday they have the final tournament game and are playing for 1st place in their division.
